Golf is off to state

The boys' golf team has left for the state tournament. They departed this morning from Belgrade just after the crack of dawn. Exciting times!

I also learned that the Padua Pub will close on Tuesday mid-afternoon for the rest of the day (tomorrow) so Dave and Clara and family can travel to St. Cloud to cheer on the baseball team at the state tournament. More exciting times!

I just read about the Class 1A state fastpitch tournament. The Section 3A champions, Edgerton-Southwest Christian, won the state title with a 10-5 win over Badger/Greenbush-Middle River in the finals. They edged Section 6A champion Upsala 2-1 in the semifinals.
