Belgrade city council, B-B-E school board meets tonight

It is also great to see that the Belgrade Royal Ambassador program will have two ambassador candidates running plus three junior ambassador candidates. The Belgrade Royal Ambassador program is on Saturday, August 13 following the grand parade.

The B-B-E school board meets at 7 p.m. tonight at the elementary media center in Brooten. Items on the agenda include discussion of the long-term facility maintenance plan and also policy revisions stemming from the 2023 Minnesota Legislative changes. That last item will be very interesting to take in. I am hopeful that St. Paul is not going to mess with our school district to the point that we have to protest what is coming. *Update on Tuesday: the policy revisions adopted include a point that clarifies parents' rights to know what is being taught in the school's curriculum.
