Community support this fall! Church auction is tonight (VIDEO)
The community support for our events across the Bonanza Valley area has been incredible this entire fall. We saw that on full display on Tuesday night this week for Dig Pink night at the volleyball match against Paynesville. You can read more about that in this week's Bonanza Valley Voice newspaper.
*Here's a video from Saturday night's church auction at Crow River Lutheran church:
Light coverage of the event in the form of just three photos were published from the Crow River Lutheran church auction in this week's Bonanza Valley Voice newspaper. You can watch another video from that night at the Bonanza Valley Voice newspaper website by clicking here: https://tinyurl.com/36n9c69u. Other coverage is online with a video from the Elrosa Fire Department steak fry.
Big Grove Lutheran church's WELCA invites everyone to their fall dinner and auction fundraiser TONIGHT! The fun begins with dinner starting at 5 p.m., and the live auction follows at 7 p.m. On the menu: roast beef sandwiches (Padua Pub beef), calico beans, Rommegrot, macaroni salad, bars and beverages. The auction includes beautiful quilts, crafts, baked goods and many other must-have items! This is a Thrivent-sponsored event and has been advertised in the October 12 and October 19 issues of the Bonanza Valley Voice newspaper.
It's incredibly important for the community to support these events. Advertising from our church auctions helps pay for the coverage you see in the newspaper each week!
Today, Friday, we have hit a high of 73 degrees in Brooten!!! It is likely, with great odds, that this will be the warmest we will be until next spring. I just can't see it getting past 70 degrees between now and next April...we'll see. For now, we know that winter is coming.
