Jaguar volleyball gearing up for playoffs: seedings are in! (VIDEOS added)
The B-B-E Jaguars volleyball team earned the No. 1 seed for the upcoming Sub-Section 6A-South tournament. The conference champion Jaguars, who have won five sub-section titles in a row, will open the playoffs on Wednesday, October 25 on the home court. They will host either Benson or Ortonville for that quarterfinal round match that starts at 7 p.m. at the elementary school.

The play-in round match for Benson and Ortonville (hosted in Benson) will be held on Monday, October 23.
Sub-Section 6A-South volleyball seedings:
1. B-B-E (20-5-1)
2. West Central Area (19-9)
3. Parkers Prairie (23-5)
4. Brandon-Evansville (10-11)
5. Hancock (9-17)
6. Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley (8-18)
7. Wheaton/Herman-Norcross (5-18)

If the Jaguars win on October 25, they will host a semifinal round match on Friday, October 27 at 7 p.m. in Brooten.
Here's a video from a September 18 match at Kerkhoven, during which the Jaguars held a 23-21 lead but ultimately fell behind 25-24...
The Jaguars righted the ship and pulled out a thrilling 28-26 win in that game before ultimately sweeping the Fighting Saints.
In case you missed it...the B-B-E Jaguars football team opens their playoffs on Saturday, October 28 in Belgrade!!! Spread the word. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. B-B-E enters the playoffs after scoring 322 regular season points, or over 40 points per game. The previous record for most points scored in a regular season was in 2013, when they had 261 points total before entering the Section 4A playoffs.
For other Mid-Northwest Gopher Gold district teams, I saw that West Central Area (3-5 overall) earned the No. 3 seed in Section 6A and will host a quarterfinal game on October 24 in Barrett. The Knights entertain New York Mills (2-6 overall). In Week 2, WCA lost 44-14 to our Jaguars. Parkers Prairie (6-2) is the top seed in Section 6A.
Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg (5-3) hosts Royalton in a section 5AA quarterfinal game on October 24 in Murdock.
