Boys' hoops win shootout at A-C-GC
In a wild shootout in Central Minnesota Conference action tonight, the B-B-E Jaguars boys' basketball team held off a second-half rally by Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City in an 80-77 win. The host Falcons entered the game with a 5-5 record in the CMC, which was good for fourth place. The win improves B-B-E's record to 4-7 in the CMC (6-15 overall).
The Jaguars led 34-23 at halftime, and both teams combined for 16 three-point makes in the second half.
In a CMC boys' basketball game played last night in Royalton, the Holdingford Huskers earned their 17th straight win by defeating the host Royals 81-59. It was Royalton's fourth loss in a row.
