Blessing of the Cross in Elrosa (VIDEO)

This was worth the drive to Elrosa! A Blessing of the Cross ceremony took place at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church on Thursday morning. This occurred just ahead of a strong rain storm that was heading towards the Bonanza Valley area. In fact, rain had hit Brooten at the time this was taking place in Elrosa. Thankfully, the strong wind and accompanying rainfall held off until this event was complete.

Coming our way on Saturday! the 7th annual Redhead Creamery Curdfest will take place on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Redhead Creamery and Jennissen Dairy in North Fork Township. Please spread the word! They had a large color advertisement for this event on the back pages of the June 5 and June 12 issues of the Bonanza Valley Voice newspaper. The presale tickets website is closed, so you can pay for your ticket ($20) at the gate when you arrive. They have ample indoor areas to gather and enjoy Curdfest! This includes an enormous tent that holds the live music performances. Don't let the wet weather scare you away from attending!
