Strong hitting night leads Jaguars to sweep of Huskers

Getting back into Central Minnesota Conference action tonight, the B-B-E Jaguars volleyball team earned a 3-0 sweep over visiting Holdingford. The win raises their CMC record to 2-0, and they are 6-4 overall.

Holdingford falls to 2-6 overall and 0-2 in the CMC.

As a team, the Jaguars had a strong 92 percent serving rate. The Jaguars had 16 errors on 110 total attacks with a hitting efficiency of 20 percent.

Next: the Jaguars travel to Crosby-Ironton high school on Saturday. They are the three-time defending champions of this tournament. Last season, they defeated Swanville in the championship. In 2023, they defeated state qualifier Pine River-Backus in the championship. In 2022, they defeated Class 3A Hermantown 2-1 in the championship. In 2021, the Jaguars placed third at this tournament.

More to come. I'm currently reviewing the area scoreboard from tonight's action.
