Let's enjoy more from STATE! (VIDEOS* and throwback video added**)
A giant stack of video and photos are waiting to be reviewed from the state volleyball tournament. What I have to comb through goes all the way back to last Wednesday's elementary pep fest. I've got close to 1,400 pictures taken since the first one taken at the elementary pep fest. Both pep fest albums have been uploaded, although they are not complete yet. They can be found at this link: https://bonanzavalley.smugmug.com/BBE-Fall-Sports-2025. From the state quarterfinal match on Thursday, I've got 333 pictures in that album.
Here's a video featuring action from the state quarterfinals:
The video includes the final points scored in game three of the Cleveland win on Thursday night.
Here's a video from early in game 2 against Ada-Borup West:
That video begins while the Cougars held a 9-8 lead.
The welcome home ceremony held last night was enjoyable and emotional. The families of our coaches and players have much to be proud of! I could publish THREE newspapers this week without putting a small dent in my supply of pictures from Saint Paul. This was so much fun from start to finish!
AND HOW about a THROWBACK! This video below features multiple current members of the volleyball team...back when they were in 6th grade.
At the state volleyball pep fest on Wednesday, November 6, 2019!
The Pep Fest that day was held in the final hour of the morning just before noon. The lunch schedule was adjusted to allow for the team to depart for Saint Paul in the afternoon.
UPDATE on Monday night:
The B-B-E fall play is this weekend! Click here to read more at the Bonanza Valley Voice newspaper website: https://shorturl.at/cDOYB. Also, the play posters are going up around the towns on Tuesday and Wednesday!
Monday night is super busy with a school board meeting in the elementary and a Brooten city council meeting. Both start at 7 p.m.
