Jaguars Wrestling -- Results From Section 5A Individual Tournament... Seven Jaguars Place, Four Make it to Final Four.... None Advance to "State"

The Jaguars wrestling team battled hard today at the Kimball Area high school for the final day of the Section 5A individual tournament. Out of seven Jaguars who made it to the finals round, four made it to the Section 5A Final Four. While none placed in the top two in each bracket, thereby missing out on the state tournament, six of the seven were underclassmen and will return next season with high hopes of a state tournament berth.

The Jaguars were led by Austin Kampsen (140) and Cole Tensen (130), who both finished in third place. Kampsen narrowly missed out on a state tournament berth, by about as slim a margin as you can imagine, when he lost 6-5 in a "true second" match.
