March Enters Like a Lion -- Lady Jaguars' Playoff Opener Moved to **Saturday March 3 at 2:00 at Elementary

In the midst of a snowstorm which central Minnesota has not seen in years, the Lady Jaguars' playoff opener against St.Cloud Cathedral has been moved to Saturday, March 3, at 2:00.

The Jaguars basketball team is set to travel to Pierz for their conference and season finale on Monday, March 5.

Wednesday practices for both basketball squads were cancelled and school was dismissed 10 minutes early, and the kids have been home since.

The second round for the Lady Jaguars is moved to an undetermined date at the Dassel-Cokato High School at about 7:30, following the early game which begins at 6:00. The Sub-Section 5AA-20 Championship is set for Tuesday, March 6 at 8:00, hosted at either Dassel-Cokato or Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted High School.

It has been a tricky week of weather to say the least. How ironic, after one of the tamest, mildest winters on record, that Mother Nature will wreak havoc on playoff basketball action. We must be living in Minnesota, I would guess.
