Jaguars Volleyball, Girls Tennis in Home Action Today

The Jaguars girls tennis team hosts Melrose Area at 4:30 today in a match that has playoff implications, as the winner will host the opening round of Sub-Section 5A-North. The team playoffs begin on Wednesday, October 1 at 4:00. I am excited about today's match, as I feel the Jaguars have a good shot at defeating the Dutchmen for the first time in school history.

The Jaguars volleyball team hosts their Pope County neighbors tonight, when Minnewaska Area comes to town for our Parents' Night. The Lakers are on a three-match slide, now 9-11 overall and 3-5 in the West Central South Conference. Make no mistake though in overconfidence, the Lakers are much-improved unit over past seasons. In 2007 they were 4-20-3, in 2006 they were 416, and in 2005 they finished 7-17.

What amazing weather we had over the weekend. A cold front came in today, though, ushering in more fall weather.
