Exciting Night for the Jaguars Volleyball Team -- 25-13, 25-17, 25-15 Win Over CMC Rival Maple Lake For Homecoming

Now isn't that special?

A beach party at the elementary baseball field... complete with fire!

The seniors (on the right) ... vs... just Rachel?

The Jaguars moved to 14-1 overall and 3-0 in the Central Minnesota Conference with tonight's convincing win over the Irish, who fell to 5-8-2 overall and 1-2 in the CMC.

While I normally don't point out individual accomplishments of Jaguars team members on this website...that's normally saved for the newspapers... I have to point out that senior volleyball outside hitter Emily Roelike went 20-of-20 in her attacks tonight, while 10 went down for kills. Not only is the 100% attack percentage impressive, but the .500 kill percentage is also an incredible mark. Heidi Lensing has broke the 50% kill percentage mark in other matches this season, and it's nice to see another of our hitters achieve this as well.

Another noteworthy item is the return of senior setter Whitney Bertram to the regular rotation, after a lengthy absence following an injury she picked up last winter. She was 31-of-32 in sets with 8 set assists.

Following the match, the "J-A-G-U-A-R-S" letters were lit up, wrapped in cloth soaked with diesel fuel.
