Jaguars Volleyball Takes Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted Tournament, 6-0 Record Overall

After dropping the first game of Pool Play's match #1, the Jaguars volleyball team rallied to take 2 games from Norwood-Young America and go on to win the rest of their matches for a second straight HL-W-W tournament title.

The Jaguars defeated Eden Valley-Watkins and Isle in pool play before winning the championship match over the host Lakers team. Both the EV-W and HL-W-W matches do not count as conference wins, though.

Noteworthy was that the Jaguars played with a different setter than they had in the first two matches of the year. Their high-octane offense didn't miss a beat.

This week Monday, varsity action: The volleyball team hosts Hancock in a 7:30 varsity match, 6:00 B & C-squad. The girls tennis team hosts West Central Area in a 4:30 match, also at home.
