Showcase Volleyball Tournament at Bethel University

As I'm typing this the Jaguars are probably leaving town. Their first match is at 5:30 against the New Life Academy Eagles, who are 3-4 so far this season. They then face LeRoy-Ostrander at 8:00 tonight from southeast Minnesota. The LeRoy-Ostrander Cardinals are 8-1 this season, with the only loss coming in a sweep against undefeated Mabel-Canton (12-0). The Cardinals play in a Class A conference, the Southeast Conference.

By around 9:00 tonight we'll know just how good our Jaguars volleyball team really is.

The tournament begins its second day of action at 9:00am on Saturday, and it should wrap up with a championship match around 3:00 in the afternoon.

**Update on Friday night...The Jaguars defeated New Life Academy (of Woodbury) in two straight games. Apparently, the team did not play well but they did what was necessary to advance with a win. They take a 9-0 record into the 8:00pm match against LeRoy-Ostrander.
