Jaguars girls danceline gives awesome show for hometown fans at final competition of the season, held at the B-B-E High School

More information is forthcoming from danceline coach Erin Caven about their great season-ending performance on Tuesday night. They beat area teams from Paynesville and Swanville in the five-team meet. It was the first time in school history that B-B-E hosted a danceline invitational.

The Jaguars girls basketball team picked up a nice 10-point win at Maple Lake on Tuesday night. More from that game will be posted later in the day on Wednesday. They are now 11-5 overall and 6-1 in the CMC, rating them with one of the best starts in B-B-E history for girls basketball.

It was interesting to note how close the game was between HL-W-W and Holdingford last night (see score below) in girls basketball. HL-W-W hosts the Jaguars on Friday night in a key Central Minnesota Conference game. The winner of that game will have a much better shot at winning a share of the title, with Eden Valley-Watkins remaining undefeated in the league.

The Albany girls basketball team stunned previously undefeated 2nd-ranked New London-Spicer 50-41 on Tuesday night. The Huskies improved to 7-2 in the West Central North Conference, while the Wildcats fell into a virtual first-place tie with Sauk Centre at 8-1.
