Jaguars wrestling vs. Osakis TODAY, Thursday, at 4:45pm on KMGK "Smooth Magic 107" out of Glenwood, 107.1 FM

The non-conference wrestling dual between the Jaguars and Silverstreaks, hosted by Osakis, will be aired on Glenwood's radio station. It is a make-up match from last Thursday, when the weather so rudely interrupted the school schedule.

The dual will begin at 5pm, with pre-game coverage starting at 4:45 with Dave McClurg, Smooth Magic's sports broadcaster.

The Jaguars girls basketball team (9-4 overall, 4-1 CMC) will travel the long road to Pierz tonight for a showdown with the Pioneers in a key Central Minnesota Conference game. The Jaguars are fighting to hold onto second place in the CMC, so they can stay within striking range of first-place Eden Valley-Watkins.

The Jaguars boys basketball team (10-1 overall), meanwhile, is at Hancock tonight for a non-conference game against the 3-6 Owls. **They have the biggest game of their season to date tomorrow, Friday night, when they travel to Eden Valley to face the always-tough Eagles in a showdown with first place in the CMC at stake. Both teams have perfect marks in the league as the last undefeated conference teams.

Below, a photo taken on Wednesday night this week, south of the Sunburg supper club, about 3/4 of a mile south of the Highway 9 and Highway 104 intersection. It shows how high the snow is right alongside the road. We're definitely having a more typical Minnesota winter than what we're used to in the past 12 years.
