Jaguars Fastpitch finishes season series sweep against Eden Valley-Watkins, winning 17-10

It was reported that the Jaguars fastpitch team defeated Eden Valley-Watkins 17-10 in Central Minnesota Conference action today. A four-hit, 10-run third inning propelled the Jaguars to the win.

The Jaguars squared their overall record at 4-4, while also improving to 3-3 in the CMC. Fastpitch is on the road at Upsala on Tuesday in non-conference action. The Cardinals (2-5) are in Section 5A, so it's an important game to win for the sub-section standings.

The Jaguars baseball team fell in a five-inning game at Eden Valley-Watkins by an 11-1 score.

The Jaguars boys and girls golf teams were in action today.

The Jaguars girls golf team finished eighth out of 15 at the very tough Willmar Golf Invite. Senior Whitney Bertram's score of 94 led the way for the Jaguars, who was one of only two Class A teams at the meet. Top four scores for the Jaguars were: Whitney Bertram 94, Amy Knutson 104, Jordan Gruendeman 113, Marissa Quade 126 (total: 437).
