Jaguars baseball team picks up first win of the season in a non-conference 10-5 win over Minnewaska Area - Boys Golf finishes 1st in CMC meet

The Jaguars are now 1-3 overall going into a home double-header against Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted on Thursday. The Central Minnesota Conference action will be held in Elrosa, with the first game beginning at 4:00pm.

Tuesday's game against Minnewaska was aired on Glenwood's Smooth Magic 107.1 FM. The Lakers fell to 2-5 overall. Seven runs scored in the third inning propelled the Jaguars to the big victory over the Class AA Lakers. Sophomore Kevin Kuefler pitched the first five innings for the win, his first as a varsity pitcher. He allowed four runs on six hits.

The Jaguars boys golf team finished in a three-way tie for first place in a Central Minnesota Conference meet on Tuesday at Maple Lake. Cory Tonn, Matt Goodwin and Mike Rodgers each shot a 45 for the Jaguars.
