Section 4A football standings are complete - playoff quarterfinals set for Tuesday, October 27 - Jaguars open at Lester Prairie

Two final scores from Wednesday night action: St. Agnes 40, West Lutheran 7 - St.Anthony Village 24, St.Bernard's 21.

The Jaguars Football team is seeded #5 for the upcoming Section 4A quarterfinals, and they will open at #4-seeded Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity next Tuesday night at 7:00pm. The LP/HT Bulldogs play their games in Lester Prairie, which is straight south of Howard Lake.

The total distance from the B-B-E high school to Lester Prairie, driving through Litchfield and Howard Lake, is 76 miles. (A better path may exist that I'm unaware of.)

"131 Hickory Street North" is where the Lester Prairie school is located.

The Bulldogs' football field is located on the southeast end of Lester Prairie, near the swimming pool. If you head two blocks to the south from the school, turn left, it's about 3 blocks down from the K-12 building of Lester Prairie.

The following are mini-capsules of the seven teams of Section 4A, detailing their section ranking, overall record, and the points earned in regular season play in games where they earned points.

#1 - St.Bernard's is 5-3, they lost a close matchup with Class AAA St.Anthony Village 24-21 on Wednesday night. They have 33 points with five wins against 3A teams, and three losses against 3A teams.

#2 - St.Agnes is 5-3, with an assortment of wins and losses against 1A, 2A, and 3A teams. They have 24 points.

#3 - Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City is 4-4, with four wins against 2A teams, and four losses against 2A teams, all West Central South Conference opponents. They have 24 section points but lose the tiebreaker with St.Agnes due to one fewer regular season wins.

#4 - Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity is 5-3, with three wins against 1A teams and two wins against 2A teams, along with one loss to a 3A team. They have 23 points.

#5 - B-B-E is 2-6, with one win against a 3A team, a win against a 2A team, and six losses to 2A teams. They have 17 points.

#6 - West Lutheran finished 3-5 in the regular season, they have 15 points with two wins against 2A teams, a loss to a 3A team, and one win against a 1A team.

#7 - Lions Gate/Bethany Academy is 3-5, with two wins against 2A teams, one win against a 1A team, and one loss to a 3A team. They have 15 points. They lose the tie-breaker with West Lutheran due to their 20-13 loss to West Lutheran in Week 2.

Don't forget! Tonight the Jaguars Volleyball team will be on Smooth Magic 107.1 FM out of Glenwood in their final regular season match against CMC rival Holdingford, beginning at 7:30pm. Pre-game coverage will start at about 7:15. It will be one final tune-up before Sub-Section 5A-South playoffs begin later next week.
