Tonight's Jaguars boys basketball game vs. Hancock will be on Glenwood's Smooth Magic 107

Smooth Magic 107FM of Glenwood will be airing tonight's game between the Jaguars and the Hancock Owls boys basketball team. Pre-game begins at about 7:15pm.

The game will begin at about 7:55 due to a problem with getting an officiating crew on site.

While it is a non-conference game, a win by the Jaguars over Hancock would be another good step towards playoff success in their new sub-section. For the first time since 2004-2005, the Jaguars will compete in the Class A playoffs. They are now members of Sub-Section 6A-South, along with Hancock.

Actually... the game began at about 8:15.

After four minutes gone in the game, the Jaguars led 12-4.

With 3:00 left in the game, the Jaguars had built an 82-49 lead, with both teams having numerous reserves on the floor by that point.

The Jaguars ultimately won 84-57, in a game that they led buzzer to buzzer.

Hancock's interior defense was simply porous, and all night long the Jaguars were getting shots and dribble drives close to the basket.
