Coming Thursday/Friday/Saturday for the Jaguars

Thursday: Jaguars girls basketball at Rockford. The Rockets, who are having their best season since 2006-2007, are 10-5 overall and 3-2 in the Central Minnesota Conference. They buried Kimball on the Cubs' court last Friday night 75-50. Rockford went 8-19 last season, and 7-20 overall in 2007-2008.

The Jaguars wrestling team hosts Lac qui Parle Valley/Dawson-Boyd on Thursday night. LQPV/D-B is a strong Class AA team that finished 20-8 in duals and made the Section 3AA Final Four last season; they are 10-4 in duals so far this year and 6-2 in the West Central South Conference.

Friday: Jaguars wrestling at the NL-S tournament (3:30) - Jaguars boys basketball hosts Pierz. Pierz is 1-10 overall and 1-3 in the CMC.

Teams wrestling at the NL-S tournament include Benilde-St. Margaret's, Glencoe-Silver Lake/Lester Prairie, Big Lake, Benson, Litchfield, Eden Valley-Watkins, and the host Wildcats.

Saturday: Jaguars danceline performs at the Albany Invitational, which begins at 11:00am. The Albany school website lists a total of 10 teams at the Invitational, but another source told me they'll only have a total of four schools represented. Tomorrow I'll find out just how many teams will be there.
