Hot off the press - Sub-Section 6A-South girls basketball seedings, Jaguars are ranked #8 in the 11-team group

Below are the seedings.

New York Mills is the #1 seed in Sub-Section 6A-North.

More info will be posted later tonight.

The Jaguars girls basketball team will host #9-seeded Hillcrest Lutheran Academy of Fergus Falls in a play-in game on Monday, March 1 at 7:00pm at the B-B-E High School. If they win, they will face #1-seeded and state-ranked Parkers Prairie in Parkers Prairie on Thursday, March 4.

My 2 cents: The Jaguars really got the SHAFT at seeding time. I don't have many good things to say about Little Eight Conference coaches right now! They certainly deserved a #7 seed, ahead of Wheaton/Herman-Norcross.

Hillcrest Lutheran Academy is 9-15 overall and 3-9 in the Little Eight Conference, good for 6th place in the 7-team league.
