Jaguars fastpitch drops both games of double-header with HL-W-W - Baseball team splits with Lakers

The Jaguars fastpitch team fell 12-5 and 4-0 in two games against Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted on Thursday night in a Central Minnesota Conference double-header. HL-W-W's fastpitch team improves to 5-3 overall and 5-1 in the CMC.

The evening of the game, Jaguars' head coach Amanda Primus was in the middle of delivery at the hospital. JV coach Chris Moscho took over coaching duties.

The Jaguars baseball team went 1-1 against HL-W-W on the road to improve to 3-3 overall and 2-2 in the CMC. They won the first game 6-4 and then lost 10-3 in the nightcap.

The Paynesville Area track and field invitational was canceled due to wet conditions. It will probably not be made up either, as May is usually busy enough and getting all teams to agree on a date is not likely.
