This is wonderful news, just reported in the St.Cloud Times today
Four teams from the West Central North Conference are working with four other schools in their area (Little Falls, Princeton, Zimmerman, and Becker) to form a new conference in eastern Minnesota. The WCCN teams in the mix are St.Cloud Cathedral, Foley, Milaca, and Mora.
It is wonderful news to see these schools become pro-active on the conference issue. In one case, Little Falls, the Flyers' athletic program has been sending teams to Moorhead and Bemidji, not to mention down to Willmar, Alexandria, and Fergus Falls.
This shakeup cuts the West Central North Conference down to five teams, so it is a sure bet that teams in central Minnesota will be invited to that league to bring them back to at least six or seven members. You need at least that many in order to make any conference sustainable.

I'll add more comments on this later today.
