Playoffs hits top gear this week for the Jaguars

Playoff action will heat up considerably
for the Jaguars athletic program this week.

Thursday: the cross country teams compete at the Section 6A meet at Little Crow Golf Course in New London. (4:00pm start)

Friday: the volleyball team hosts a Sub-Section 5A-West quarterfinal match at 7:00pm. A win would advance them to a semi-final match, again at home, next week Tuesday (Nov. 2) beginning at 8:01pm due to elections.

Saturday: the football team travels to Lester Prairie for a semi-final battle in Section 4A against Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity. (7:00pm kickoff) The section championship is on Friday, November 5, at 7:00pm in Grove City, assuming A-C-GC is not upset in their semi-final game.

Competing at the Section 6A cross country meet are the following teams: Ottertail Central, Ortonville, Paynesville Area, St. John's Prep, Sauk Centre, West Central Area, Wheaton/Herman-Norcross, Benson, Breckenridge, Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta, Minnewaska Area, New London-Spicer, Albany, Eden Valley-Watkins/Kimball, Hillcrest Lutheran Academy, Holdingford, Litchfield, Long Prairie-Grey Eagle, Lac qui Parle Valley/Dawson-Boyd.
