Update on Section 4A standings, in lieu of Friday Night Lights Part VIII, which is essentially a playoff game for the Jaguars

So here's what I've got for Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity, who the Jaguars have been in a battle with for the #2 playoff seed down the regular season stretch:
Week 1 win over 2A Red Lake (5 points), loss to 2A North Cedar (1 point), win over 1A West Lutheran (4 points), loss to 3A Providence (1 point), win over 1A St.Agnes (4 points), loss to 2A New Life Academy (1 point), loss to 1A Minneota (0 points) ... total: 16 points. Loss tonight means 17 points, win means 23 points.

A-C-GC: Loss to 3A Milaca (1 point), three wins over 2A schools (15 points), loss to 2A YME (1 point), win over 3A Montevideo (6 points), loss to 2A BOLD (1 point). 24 points total.
Win vs. 2A Minnewaska tonight means 29 points, loss means 25 points

B-B-E, a little easier - one win over 2A West Central Area and then six losses to 2A/3A schools for a total of 11 points. Loss tonight means 12 points, win means 16 points.

St.Agnes: four losses to 2A or 3A schools (4 points) plus a win over West Lutheran for 8 points. Win tonight vs. West Lutheran means 12 points, loss means 8 points.

West Lutheran: three losses to 2A/3A schools (3 points). Win tonight means 7 points total, loss means 3 points total.

Here is the good news: The Jaguars control their own destiny as far as gaining a first-round bye. If they beat Kimball they lock up the #3 seed. If they lose, they may end up in a tie with St.Agnes in the points total. I wouldn't want to flirt with tie-breakers. There's your rally cry for the team. Kimball is a playoff game! It's that simple, if they beat Kimball it is worth a section quarterfinal win.
