Senior Grant Bell places third at the Central Minnesota Conference Championships, earns All-Conference Cross Country award
Performing in his final Central Minnesota Conference cross country race, B-B-E senior Grant Bell took third place with an unofficial time of 17:48 on Tuesday afternoon at Pierz.
Bell has had nothing less than a stellar cross country career at B-B-E, after transferring from St.Cloud Cathedral when his mom, Bobbi Bell, became Pastor at Big Grove/Crow River Lutheran Churches. As a sophomore in 2008, Bell placed fifth at the CMC championships in Kimball. Last year he finished as conference runner-up, and this year he earned All-CMC status for the third year in a row.
Bell and teammates Jared Sorenson and Daniel Rooney now gear up for the Section 6A race, which will be on October 28 at New London's Little Crow Golf Course.

This marks the first time in B-B-E history since the program was founded in 1991 that a male cross country runner has won three all-conference awards in cross country.
