Girls' basketball trails at the break against Kimball before earning a come-from-behind win! Jaguar wrestlers go 3-0 to win Bronco Dualsat Browerville

Early in the second half tonight...Amy Bast/Brittany Roelike/Becca Gruber are shown here collapsing on a Kimball shooter trying to punch in a bucket on the left block...
...the final score!...
Halftime score: Kimball Area 21, B-B-E 15. The Jaguars girls' basketball team had tied the game 14-14 earlier in the half.

In the second half, Megan Weller scored a paint bucket with 15:25 left to make it a 23-21 deficit.

With around 6 minutes left, the Cubs had pulled ahead 44-37; the Jaguars rallied, though, and stormed back to take a 47-44 lead.

**Update at 9:05...the Jaguars snapped their long losing streak and won 56-48. It's their third win of the season and first in Central Minnesota Conference play. After being held to four points in the first half, Raeann Sorenson erupted in the second half and finished with a team-high 21 points. It was an especially satisfying win considering the Jaguars had lost by 26 points at Kimball in December.

Kimball falls to 9-7 overall and 4-5 in the CMC; the Jaguars are 3-13 overall and 1-7 in the CMC. This was Kimball's third loss in a row, all by single digits.

Up next: a home contest on Monday night against always-tough Osakis, who is 10-6 overall and 8-1 (2nd) in the Prairie Conference.
At the Browerville/Eagle Valley Bronco duals tonight, the Jaguars wrestling team won all three matches. They beat West Central Area, Border West and Browerville/Eagle Valley. The final score of the B/EV match was 51-18! What a way to finish the night. They were the lone team out of the six in action to go 3-0. Teams that went 2-1 were Border West and Holdingford, while Browerville/Eagle Valley and WCA went 1-2 and Parkers Prairie was 0-3. Read more details at www.saukherald.com under "sports" for B-B-E.
Finally, good luck tomorrow to the B-B-E Dazzlers dance team as they compete in the Camden Conference dance championships at Tracy-Milroy-Balaton high school in Tracy.
