In a nutshell...

The Elrosa Saints lost their bid for a state tournament berth in a 4-1 loss to Lake Henry earlier today in the Region 15C tournament. Later in the afternoon, New Munich ended Spring Hill's season by a 4-0 score. Then New Munich tagged Lake Henry with an 11-5 loss that gave the Lakers the number four seed from Region 15C in the upcoming Class C amateur baseball tournament.

On to Belgrade's August Fest...the Miss Belgrade coronation was held at the B-B-E High School auditorium before a packed crowd. Jordan Wieberdink was crowned Miss Belgrade, with Meagan Korf and Jesseca Cobb earning Belgrade Princess titles.
