Friday Night Lights Part VII: Pierz runs over the Jaguars
Final score from Morrison County: Pierz 35, B-B-E 6. After running for every yard gained in last week's 40-0 win at Rockford Area, the Pioneers got two touchdowns tonight through the air to go with 200 yards passing. They also rumbled for over 200 yards on the ground in the win.
Pierz was ranked #14 in the Class AA QRF rankings, so this loss isn't the end of the world by any means.
No word yet from Kimball Area, where Eden Valley-Watkins traveled tonight in search of their second win of the season. The Eagles (1-5) travel to B-B-E next week to complete the regular season.
**Update: this is the final score from Kimball tonight: Eden Valley-Watkins 28, Kimball Area 2.
