Step IV brings a stumbling block: the Nevis Tigers

Lee Borgerding - B-B-E's super fan!
I'll put our fans up against fans from any other school any day! They make anyone proud to be from B-B-E.

The Nevis Tigers won in three sets tonight to advance to the Class A state tournament for the second year in a row. Game scores were 25-7, 25-23, 25-20.

Also for the second year in a row, the B-B-E Jaguars volleyball team finishes a wonderful season with a heartbreaking end at 25-8 overall. They continued the incredible, outstanding and very special tradition of winning conference and sub-section titles. It does not mean much tonight for the players, but they should be immensely proud of how they represented the B-B-E community during the fall of 2012.

Here's a video clip that shows the last point earned tonight by the Jaguars on an ace tip by Miriah DeKok to make the score 24-20 in favor of Nevis. Coach Hanson called a timeout at the end of this clip, and after that timeout the next point went to the Tigers to end the match.

More will follow later tonight. It's a lengthy trip from Morrison County to Pope County!
