Junior High tournament at B-B-E cancelled today

A 7th/8th grade girls' basketball tournament at B-B-E has been cancelled for today. It was to take place at both the elementary and high school buildings, but the steady rain and sleet that's already coming down (at 7:00am) has nixed those plans.

When Santa Claus makes his trip to Brooten today, he will have to deal with rain unfortunately. Yikes! Not good.

PS - the rain won't prevent you from listening to the Coaches Roundup show this morning...D-Mac's interview with Coach Anderson is starting right now at 7:28am...

Just heard from a mother in Sauk Centre that her elementary student in a little shocked and upset over a classmate talking about how many guns his family has at home and that he is going to bring one to school and "shoot people in the face"

Wow, that kid is messed up!

Don't worry, that mother is reporting it, and hopefully something is done about it. That type of BS talk get snuffed out right away if it ever happens at B-B-E!

Think we're immune from violence and mental illness in our small towns? No way.
