B-B-E has the female District 20 Triple-A winner!

During her team's 48-42 win over Melrose Area on December 6, Brittany Roelike is shown in action dribbling out of defensive pressure applied by Tayler Reller.

B-B-E senior Brittany Roelike, who will play volleyball next year at the College of St. Ben's University, earned the prestigious MSHSL District 20 Triple-A award. She was honored with the news at the District 20 banquet on Wednesday this week at the Paynesville American Legion club.

Roelike advances with NL-S senior Grant Vagle, the male District 20 Triple-A winner, to the Region 5A field.

The purpose of the program is to recognize and honor high school seniors who have excelled in the classroom, on the athletic field and in the fine arts; to elevate academic standards and create greater awareness of League-sponsored activities and their values; and to provide member schools of the League with the opportunity to participate in a statewide program that supports, promotes, and recognizes academic and extra-curricular achievements.

More will follow on this big news next week.
