Interesting: some enrollment figures for Section 5A volleyball

I thought perhaps that a fear existed that the Jaguars volleyball team may be bumped up to Class AA in the next section reclassification. Then I went and actually looked at the numbers and found that B-B-E is the 5th largest school in Sub-Section 5A-South. They are nowhere near being the biggest school in that sub-section. In the last "census" B-B-E had 166 students in grades 9-12. Fellow sub-section members Royalton, Eden Valley-Watkins, Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City and Kimball Area are all bigger schools.

If they were a member of Sub-Section 5A-North, B-B-E would only be the 7th-largest in what would be a group of 12 schools. The biggest school in the volleyball Section 5A is Hinckley-Finlayson with a 9-12 enrollment of 220.

Needless to say, B-B-E will be in Class A volleyball for the foreseeable future.
