Holdingford is out

For the second straight season, the Holdingford Huskers football team lost in the Class AA quarterfinals. They lost today to Hawley (Section 8AA champion) by a 29 to 22 score. It was 6-6 at halftime.

**Update: Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity lost 20 to 14 today to Sleepy Eye St. Mary's. Upsala/Swanville Area lost 28 to 12 to Mahnomen.

And at SCSU tonight, New London-Spicer has a 24 to 16 lead at halftime in their Class AAA quarterfinal game. The Wildcats broke a 16-all tie by scoring on a three-yard pass play with no time on the clock on 4th down.

**Update: late in the 3rd quarter, Coach Essler's Wildcats have a 38 to 18 lead. *Final: NL-S 56, D-G-F 30. Hats off to the Wildcats!!
