NL-S track meet held

Nick Benton shown in the shot put today. He finished 14th with a best distance of 36-3.

Nick Steinhofer ran the fourth leg of the 4x800 relay; the Jaguars finished with a time of 10:30.65.

Tessa Halvorson shown in the Discus Throw event; her best throw was good for 62 feet, four inches.

Wow! What a day, weather-wise! At the start of the meet, the temperature was 64 degrees with full sunshine and minimal wind at 3:30pm.

Up next: the track and field teams compete at Sauk Centre on their brand-new track facility on Tuesday beginning at 4:00pm. They travel to Melrose Area on Thursday. The Central Minnesota Conference championships are next Tuesday, May 13 at Maple Lake. The Sub-Section 5A-20 meet is on Tuesday, May 20 at Litchfield.
