Tough ending

The upstart #7 seeded Royalton Royals beat the #2 seeded Jaguars baseball team 8-7 in the subsection quarterfinals today. The season is over for B-B-E, who finishes 8-12 overall.

After falling behind 6-1, the Jaguars plated five runs in the bottom of the 5th inning to tie it up. After a scoreless 6th inning, the Royals scored one unearned and one earned run in the top of the 7th. The Jaguars had a bases loaded rally going with one out, but it was not meant to be as all they could get was one run in the last at bat.
