Huskers vs. Jaguars

The hometown fans salute the volleyball team after they finished with a win tonight against Holdingford and won game four 25-17.

Game one: 25-14 win against Holdingford.
Game two: the Jaguars turned a 6-5 lead into a 17-10 lead, then fell back to an 18-16 lead before pulling away for a 25-18 win.
Game three: the Huskers came back from deficits of 12-5 and 20-11 to tie it at 23-23 and then earn the final two points to win 25-23.
Game four: the Jaguars built an early 12-4 lead and then 19-13 before cruising to a 25-17 win.

Next for the Jaguars volleyball team is a road match at Howard Lake next Thursday.

At Long Prairie, the Jaguars girls' tennis team lost a heartbreaker 4-3 after holding a 3-2 lead. They finish the Prairie Conference schedule in third place with a 3-2 record. Next is the Prairie Conference tournament back at the LP-GE high school on Saturday.
