Step II: a blowout win

The Jaguars were rolling by the second half and had a 48-31 lead with 11:42 left in the game last night at Pierz.

In the second round of playoffs tonight in the Sub-Section 5A-South tournament, the B-B-E Jaguars girls' basketball team took apart fifth-seeded East Central in a 69-47 win.

The Jaguars trailed 8-7, 10-9 and 13-12 early but then put on the afterburners and led 37-21 at halftime. They were in control for the entire second half to improve to 20-8 on the season. Awesome! Next is the sub-section finals on Tuesday in Pierz at 7 p.m. against either Kimball Area or Royalton. At halftime in the other semifinal game tonight in Pierz, second-seeded Kimball leads 25-19 over the sixth-seeded Royals.
