Elrosa improves to 3-0
The Elrosa Saints amateur baseball team invaded Spring Hill today and put together a terrific performance through nine innings in a 5-1 Stearns County League North win. Now 2-0 in the SCL, the Saints travel to St. Martin for another afternoon game next Sunday, May 10 with a 1:30 p.m. start time.

After two scoreless innings, Elrosa took a 2-0 lead in the third inning. They padded the lead with two more runs plated in the top of the fourth inning on three hits. Starter Ethan Vogt pitched a great first six innigns with a solid defense backing him up. Aaron Vogt took over in the seventh inning and gave up just one run. In the bottom of the eighth, Aaron Vogt got a strikeout, a ground out and a fly out. The Saints picked up another run in the top of the ninth inning when A.J. Hadley hit a two-out RBI-single to left field to score pinch runner Brandon Roelike from second base. Aaron Vogt shut the door with two strikeouts and a ground out in the bottom of the ninth to return the Keg back to Elrosa.
