Friday Night Lights IV: great results!

A huge boost tonight came when the Jaguars marched 97 yards for their final touchdown of the night; (above) the Jaguars offense starts out with the first huddle of that drive from their own three-yard line in the shadow of their goal post.

Great news at halftime! The B-B-E Jaguars football team has a 14-6 lead over visiting Parkers Prairie in front of a great home crowd. The Jaguars trailed 6-0 late in the first quarter.

At Marshall, the volleyball Jaguars beat Class 3A East Ridge in two sets in the first match of that tournament.

**Update: with 10:52 left in the game, the Jaguars are ahead 28-14!

Final: Jaguars (2-2) win 35-14!!! The Jaguars piled up 351 total yards of net offense with 269 yards coming in the ground. Their 35 points scored is the most since they beat Eden Valley-Watkins 54-8 in the last game of the 2013 regular season. The win was also big in the Section 4A standings, where the Jaguars have climbed into fourth place. In my imaginary QRF power rankings, I'd say the Jaguars would fall in to that fourth place spot as well behind Minneapolis North, Upsala/Swanville Area and Mayer Lutheran.

Next: West Central Area/Ashby at home in Week Five. The Knights (1-3) beat KMS 19-8 in Barrett to get their first win of the season, while the Fighting Saints fell to 1-3 after losing their bid for two wins in a row.
