Two season-opening wins

The Jaguars huddled up tonight before shaking hands with the Cardinals following the season opener.
Temperatures at game time hovered between 40 and 42 degrees with a 10-15 mph wind out of the northeast.

And the B-B-E Jaguars fastpitch team won 15-12 against Upsala. The game was tied 9-9 heading into the bottom of the sixth inning. The Jaguars had 11 hits, while the Cardinals had 10 hits. B-B-E's freshmen Cassandra Tensen went the distance in the pitcher's circle to earn the complete-game win. This was B-B-E's first varsity fastpitch game since the 2012 season.

Up next for the fastpitch team is a home game against Holdingford this Thursday. It will also be the Central Minnesota Conference opener.

The B-B-E Jaguars baseball team won 7-4 at Hancock after jumping out to a 3-0 lead in the third inning.

First meet of the year, and the girls' golfers are already taking home hardware!

At Marshall, the B-B-E Jaguars girls' golf team pulled off a great runner-up finish at the 10-team Tigers Invitational. They scored a 384, behind first-place Marshall Area, who had a 365.
