At 145 pounds, junior Isaiah Gilbert won his semifinal match by defeating sophomore Jared Knutson of Benson in an 8-6 decision.

Numerous other Jaguars won in the wrestlebacks or have byes in their wrestleback bracket and remain to fight on Day Two: Blaine Fischer (106), Tyler Jensen (120), Dylan T. Kampsen (132), Trevor Kern (160), Spencer Amundson (182) and Seth Roering (285).

Two Jaguars battled their hearts out but lost out of the wrestlebacks: eighth grader Mark Jenniges (138) and senior Jonah Voss (195).
