Crossing fingers
All precipitation has been taken out of the forecast for the coming days. After looking at what's coming, with "58 and sunny" on Sunday, and then a high of 64 degrees next Monday, I am hopeful that we'll have the start of the fastpitch season and outdoor track and field season next Monday.
The B-B-E Jaguars fastpitch team would host Pierz on Monday at 4:30 p.m., while the B-B-E Jaguars track and field team would compete at Maple Lake on Monday. That Monday track meet has a 4 o'clock start time (*Bus times: 14:15 from the elementary and 14:30 departure from the high school.)
In amateur baseball news, I heard that the Elrosa Saints may get their season going with an exhibition game on Sunday over near St. Cloud. That would be great, too! They've been practicing indoors at the B-B-E high school gymnasiums since March 1.
On an unrelated note, but a very important one nonetheless, I want to share this web link to give followers here a chance to read a recent update posted on April 16 about the 26-year old Ashby woman who I blogged about on April 8. https://www.youcaring.com/kellyfalk-1154096.
