Friday Night Lights II: it's a bust
My first observation: we had a terrific home crowd tonight! I was incredibly pleased with the turnout! I only wish things turned out better on the football field, though...the final score tonight: Kimball Area 34, B-B-E 0.
Another observation: very little went right tonight.

It's Kimball Area's first win over the Jaguars since 2012. I still remember that night, Week Two of the season, when the Cubs won a shootout on their home field by a 34-28 score. B-B-E was in the middle of an 0-3 start to the season, which ended in a very tough 6-0 loss to A-C-GC in the Section 4A championship game at SCSU's Husky Stadium.
The outlook does not get any easier for Week Three, when our Jaguars travel to state-ranked Class 2A Royalton next Friday. The Royals are 2-0 after defeating Parkers Prairie 32-20 tonight.
Mid-State District, Sub-District III scores in Week Two:
Upsala/Swanville Area 22, New York Mills 13
