Radio coverage at Melrose

Tonight's season opener for the B-B-E Jaguars girls' basketball team will be aired on Smooth Magic 107 FM of Glenwood (online and on the radio) with tip-off coming at about 7:30 p.m. in Melrose. Pre-game coverage will begin about 15 minutes before that.

*Update in the first half...in the early stages of the game, the host Dutchmen have an 8-4 lead. *At halftime, Melrose has a 20-19 lead.

Final score: B-B-E 54, Melrose Area 45 in overtime! The game was tied 41-41 after regulation play ended.

Next: the Jaguars host Osakis in a non-conference game for the home opener next Tuesday, December 4. The Silverstreaks are 0-1 after losing 53-33 tonight to visiting Holdingford.
