Speech! and basketball

The B-B-E speech team was one of 16 schools represented at the Albany meet today. Billy Tensen (third) and Jesse Westaby (third) were the high placewinners. Next for the speech team is a meet at Swanville on Saturday, February 9.

Goat Ridge Brewing Co. is owned and operated by Josh Reed, a 1991 B-B-E graduate and a Brooten native.

At Browerville this afternoon, the B-B-E Jaguars girls' basketball team won 75-43. They led 38-12 at halftime.

*Update: also at Browerville, the B-B-E Jaguars boys' basketball team has a 20-14 lead with five minutes left in the first half. *Halftime: B-B-E 25, Browerville 22.
