Crookston beat Long Prairie 6-2 to advance to the semifinals today in the Elrosa Elite 8 tournament. Fergus Falls beat Tri City 4-2 in another quarterfinal game.

Crookston plays Elrosa at 8 p.m. tonight for a berth in the championship.

In a second-round game today, Freeport beat Long Prairie by a 3-1 score to advance to Sunday's fifth-place game.

*Updates: in their evening game, the Elrosa Saints lost a tremendous game by a 2-1 score to Crookston. The Saints will play in the third-place game at 2 p.m. on Sunday against the Fergus Falls Hurricanes.

In their semifinal game today, Sartell beat Fergus Falls 7-5 to advance to the championship.

Crookston and Fergus Falls will play at 4 p.m. on Sunday in Elrosa with first place on the line.
