Remembering Crow Lake Lutheran church

I was hoping to get coverage on this and also the Terrace Mill's Bluegrass Festival in today's issue of the Bonanza Valley Voice. That all got pushed to next week. But you can take in the sermon given at Crow Lake Lutheran church's afternoon service on Sunday. It was a fundraiser event for the church's cemetery board.

In sports, tonight the B-B-E Jaguars volleyball team travels to Maple Lake to try and remain undefeated in the Central Minnesota Conference. The three top teams in the CMC will all collide in these last three weeks of the regular season, with Royalton also being 4-0 in the league. Something's gotta give! Let's hope for a successful night for our Jaguars! **Update: tonight's volleyball match at Maple Lake will be aired on Smooth Magic 107 FM.

*On a more philosophical note... for church-going people out there, while you're sitting through a service each Sunday, how often do you think about the people who are not going to church?

Does that not concern you at all? I think we sell God short when we are not out inviting people into the fold. There's nothing good at all about that.

When I think about people I know who are unchurched, I get very sad. I believe it's absolutely vital that churches figure out how to get more people involved in what goes on in the walls of the church building week-to-week.
