Dance season update (VIDEO)

The B-B-E/Paynesville Pirouettes dance team competed in Alexandria yesterday. Their season is just at mid-point, and they have more comps on the horizon.

Below is video of the varsity jazz team at the Minnewaska Comp on December 2:

The Pirouettes found success just before the Christmas break. At their home competition on December 19, the kick squad took third place, and the jazz squad took fourth. The following night at Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City, the Pirouettes placed third in kick and second in jazz.

Next: the Pirouettes compete at Rocori on Saturday, January 11.

The Camden Conference championships are on Friday, January 24 at Yellow Medicine East high school in Granite Falls (6:30 p.m.).

The wrestling Jaguars have just one event this week, the Paynesville tournament on Friday. Sartell-St. Stephen will be B-B-E's main competition for the team title, but as highly ranked as the Jaguars are, other teams will be gunning for them as well.
